She began her career as a registered nurse in the neonatal intensive care unit at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis. She later moved to Chicago, IL and worked in the pediatric intensive care unit and then the pulmonary outpatient department and cystic fibrosis center at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.
Taylor returned to school and received her Doctor of Nursing Practice, Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Rush University in Chicago. She has an interest in pediatric and women’s health.
She recently got engaged and lives with her fiancé and miniature schnauzer in Chicago, IL. She enjoys curling up with a good book and a cup of tea, and going on long walks with her dog. She also loves traveling, spending time outdoors, and has a goal to visit every national park in the country.
