Dr. Punya Narain joined Primary Care Associates in 2025. Dr. Narain grew up in Florida and earned her undergraduate degree from Rice University.
She then attended medical school at Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine and went on to complete pediatric residency training at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
After residency, she became a board certified pediatrician and has been serving children and families in Houston, Texas for the past 5 years.
Some of Dr. Narain’s favorite things about being a pediatrician include building long term relationships with families and watching newborn babies grow up into bright young
children. In addition, she is passionate about preventative care, the importance of vaccines, and nutrition.
In her free time, Dr. Narain enjoys baking, taking long walks with her dog, and spending time with her family
